Two layer labels printed on a Gallus EM340S flexographic press in up to ten colours, for food and pharmaceutical labelling. The press can incorporate screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination, and pharmaceutical label formats such as silk screen, foil blocking and ‘peel ‘n’ read’ can be added to the machine as required. Labels run on material from 30 micron – 400 micron with low-odour, Benzophenone free inks. A press comparator compares the “first off” print against the customer-approved PDF, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time, with 6 lane sequential numbering integrated onto the finishing machine.
