The flexographic Gallus EM340S press prints in up to ten colours and can add pharmaceutical formats such as silk screen, foil blocking and "peel 'n' read". A press comparator checks the "first off" pass against the customer-approved PDF, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time and verifies barcodes. Food and healthcare labels are produced under the same roof for added security and fast turnaround, using low-odour, Benzophenone free inks.
