Foil labels with a gold metallic finish, printed on a continuous roll. The gold web carries dark printed graphics, text panels and a barcode panel. Cold foil runs inline on the Gallus EM340S flexographic press alongside screenprinting, coating and lamination, in up to 10 colour + foiling + laminate, and foil blocking can be added to the machine as required. Material runs from 30 micron – 400 micron, with exceptionally high-resolution print (2% dot) and low-odour, Benzophenone free inks suitable for food and pharmaceutical labelling. The inspection unit can check barcodes and number each label consecutively in one pass, an on-press camera gives the operator a live view of every label during the run, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time.
