Cosmetics labels on rolls, printed on a Gallus EM340S flexographic press in up to 10 colours for bottles, jars and pump dispensers. The rolls carry full-colour designs such as green leaf-and-grape and purple patterns, and the finished labels wrap glass bottles, pump bottles and jars. Screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination run inline, on material from 30 micron – 400 micron, with exceptionally high-resolution print (2% dot). Printing uses low-odour, Benzophenone free inks. A press comparator checks the first print against the customer-approved PDF, an on-press camera gives a live view of every label, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time. The finishing machine adds 6 lane sequential numbering.
