Self adhesive labels for food and pharmaceutical packaging, printed in up to 10 colours plus foiling and laminate on material from 30 micron to 400 micron, at exceptionally high resolution (2% dot). Printing runs on a Gallus EM340S flexographic press, which adds screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination in line. Food and healthcare labels are made under one roof, for added security and fast turnaround. On-line vision inspection runs on press and at finishing, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time, verifies barcodes and removes waste. Six-lane sequential numbering is built into the finishing machine, and the low-odour, Benzophenone free inks suit food and pharmaceutical labelling. One roll layout gives a 40mm core with 150mm and 100mm label measurements.
