Synthetic Labels are self-adhesive printed labels supplied on rolls for bottles, printed on a Gallus EM340S flexographic press in up to ten colours. On white and clear bottles they wrap the body with full-colour artwork in bold swirling bands. The press adds screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination inline, on material from 30 micron – 400 micron, with exceptionally high resolution (2% dot) print. Printing uses low-odour, Benzophenone free inks suitable for food and pharmaceutical labelling. A camera on the press gives a live view of every label during the run, and after printing a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time, with 6 lane sequential numbering on the finishing machine.
