Heat transfer labels supplied in roll form: plain white labels on a cream-coloured liner, wound on cores. They come from a Gallus EM340S flexographic press that prints in up to ten colours and adds screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination inline, on material from 30 micron – 400 micron. Food and healthcare labels are produced under the same roof, for enhanced security and fast turnaround on healthcare packaging projects. Printing uses low-odour, Benzophenone free inks suitable for food and pharmaceutical labelling, and the expected average production speed is in the region of 80 metres per minute. After printing, a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time and can re-inspect labels so that all waste is removed.
