Peelable Labels are self-adhesive printed labels for food and pharmaceutical packaging, produced on a Gallus EM340S flexographic press that prints up to 10 colour + foiling + laminate. Pharmaceutical label formats such as ‘peel ‘n’ read’, silk screen and foil blocking can be added to the press as required, alongside inline screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination. Labels run on material from 30 micron – 400 micron using low-odour, Benzophenone free inks. A press comparator system checks the “first off” production pass against the customer-approved PDF, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time, re-inspecting labels so that waste is removed.
