Metalized self-adhesive labels for food and pharmaceutical brands, printed in up to 10 colour + foiling + laminate on a Gallus EM340S flexographic press. Cold foil, screenprinting and coating can be added in line, with silk screen and foil blocking available as further processes. Print resolution is a high 2% dot, on material from 30 micron – 400 micron, at an expected average of about 80 metres per minute. A press comparator checks the "first off" pass against the customer-approved PDF, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time, verifies barcodes and adds 6 lane sequential numbering. Food and healthcare labels are produced under the same roof for added security and fast turnaround, with low-odour, Benzophenone free inks.
