Food Labels are printed self-adhesive labels on rolls for food pouches, jars and sauce bottles, made with low-odour, Benzophenone free inks suitable for food and pharmaceutical labelling. Red, full-colour food artwork carries across matching rolls, a stand-up pouch, glass jars and a sauce bottle. The Gallus EM340S flexographic press prints in up to ten colours with inline screenprinting, cold foil, coating and lamination, on material from 30 micron – 400 micron. A press comparator system checks the first production pass against the customer-approved PDF, and a Scantech rewind machine with vision inspection checks every label 100% of the time. Average production speed is expected to be in the region of 80 metres per minute.
