Kairusi Foods

Kairusi Foods is a small-scale industry in Madhavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, that makes and sells homemade South Indian masala and spice powders, masala combo packs, whole spices and a health mix under its own brand "Kairusi". Every blend is handmade from handpicked spices in small batches using traditional South Indian methods and is 100% natural, free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Of its 54 products, 24 are combo packs (50gm X 2) that pair two blends, such as Biryani Masala with Chicken 65 Masala or Red Chilli Powder with Coriander Powder. Twenty masala and spice powders form the core: Biryani, Chicken, Chicken 65, Mutton, Fish Curry, Fish Fry, Pepper Fish Fry, Pepper Curry and Garam Masala; Sambar, Rasam, Vatha Kullambu, Kullambu Chilly and Idly Chilli Powder; Horsegram Thuvaiyal; asafoetida; and red chilli, coriander, turmeric and pepper powders. Nine whole spices round out the range: cinnamon sticks (pattai), coriander seeds (thaniya), cumin, fennel, fenugreek (vendhayam), green cardamom (elakai), mustard seeds, whole cloves (lavangam) and black pepper, along with "Kairusi Homemade Health Mix". The signature mixes are Fish Fry Masala, Chicken 65 Masala and Pepper Curry Masala, loved by home cooks and chefs alike, while Horsegram Thuvaiyal and Pepper Fish Fry Masala are products hard to find anywhere else. Monthly provision and grocery products are offered alongside the masala range. Products follow traditional recipes made to modern hygiene standards, with strict quality control and regular reviews of product standards. Packs carry the line "KAIRUSI - Taste and feel heaven". Kairusi Foods was established on January 3rd, 2020 by Mr. P.G.R. Prabhu and is fully managed and organised by Mrs. G. Devi, Managing Partner. Plans include pickles, vegetable oils, ready-mix powders and ready-to-eat dishes, and creating sustainable employment for local communities. Free delivery is offered, with zone-wise minimum order values for Chennai, the rest of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai metros, and other states; orders are dispatched within 1 working day of the order date.
