Mumbai Pav Bhaji Masala (मुंबई पाव भाजी मसाला) is a Mumbai street-food spice blend for making pav bhaji at home, also used in vegetable stews, soups, dipping sauces for snacks and marinades for grilled or roasted vegetables. It is part of the "Veggies Special" range. Made with non-oil-extracted spices that hold their natural flavour and aroma, it gives a rich, restaurant-style bhaji with little effort. The blend is 100% natural and free from preservatives and artificial ingredients. The label lists chilli, coriander, cumin, royal cumin and cinnamon, and the white and red pouch carries a green VEG mark and FSSAI number 11521998000267. It is a product of India. For pav bhaji, 2 tablespoons of masala are cooked with onion, tomato and butter, then with 4 cups of boiled, mashed mixed vegetables, and served with toasted pav and lemon. A splash of lemon juice or chopped green chillies adds tang and heat. Stored airtight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, it stays fresh for up to 12 months.
