Silver Sella Basmati Rice is a 1121 long-grain parboiled basmati packed in a 30kg bag, labelled "Basmati Sella Rice XXXL" and "1121 Silver Basmati Rice"; it is "The Queen Of Aroma". Basmati paddy grows mainly in the Himalayan foothills of the Indian subcontinent, where the specific soil it needs and a favourable climate come together, and the long grain has a natural enticing aroma. As a sella rice it is parboiled, partially precooked while the husk is still on, which helps retain nutrients that are otherwise lost while the grain is refined. The rice is cream in colour, natural, 100% pure Sortex clean, of high purity and of Indian origin. The grey bag is marked "Old Rice", "Extra Long Grain" and "Exotic Aroma".
