Classic Sella Basmati Rice is a parboiled 1121 basmati, extra long grain and cream in colour, marked XXXL and packed in 30 kg bags. Called "The Queen Of Aroma", the long grain has a natural, enticing aroma. Sella rice is partially precooked while the husk is still on, and this parboiling helps retain some nutrients otherwise lost while refining the grain. Basmati is grown mainly in the Himalayan foothills of the Indian subcontinent, whose specific soil and favourable climate suit this paddy. The grain is "100% Pure Sortex Clean", natural, high in purity and of Indian origin, and the bag is marked old rice and exotic aroma. It comes in a white and green printed bag.
