Gobindobhog Rice, also spelled Gobindabhog, is a short-grain cream rice marked "Payesh & Khichuri special", with an exotic aroma. It comes in 0.5 kg, 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg and 26 kg packs, and the 500 gram purple pouch is marked new rice. The grain is "100% Pure Sortex Clean", natural, high in purity and of Indian origin. The seller also describes it in basmati terms: "The Queen Of Aroma", a long-grain rice grown mainly in the Himalayan foothills, and a Sella rice, parboiled while the husk is still on to retain some nutrients otherwise lost in refining.
