Banskathi Rice is a natural, long grain, cream-coloured rice from India, packed in 5kg, 10kg and 26kg bags; the pack reads "Long Grain Rice" and "OLD RICE". Known as "The Queen Of Aroma", this is Basmati rice grown mainly at the Himalayan foothills, where the soil and favourable climate suit the paddy and give a long grain with a natural, enticing aroma. It is also a sella rice, a parboiled Basmati cultivar partly precooked while the husk is still on, which helps retain nutrients otherwise lost in refining. Its quality is "100% Pure Sortex Clean" with high purity, and it keeps 12 months from the date of packaging, stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.
