Large parabolic solar baskets are parabolic solar concentrators for industrial heat and mass cooking, and they come in five sizes. The design suits steam generation, air heating or thermic oil heating. The focal point is fixed with the ground, and the paraboloid revolves on both axes, which pass through the focal point. The heat receiver is protected from the wind, so convection losses are minimum. The main features are simplicity and low cost. The design folds completely for easy transport, uses 100% of the aperture area, and needs only half the space of other solar concentrators. There is zero need to locate latitude or compass direction, and seasonal adjustment is unnecessary. The baskets are highly user friendly for any layman.
