Vertical steam boiler for oil mills, supplying the process steam that heats and cooks oilseeds in the cooking kettle before crushing, in three models: TPB16, TPB20 and TPB26. Steam forms as the water boils over a fire of husks, wood, coal or any agricultural waste; the feature list also names oil and other solid items as fuel. The steam leaves through an opening connected directly to the preconditioner kettle, where it pre-conditions and heats the seeds. The water feed pump is driven by a 1.5 HP motor and is described both as mounted separately and as mounted on the top of the boiler. Crushing of cotton seeds, copra and mustard seeds runs boiler-free, and kettles heated by electricity usually run boiler-free too. For plants that want to use LPG alone, a special boiler with a gas burner connects to an LPG cylinder at the same price and saves one operator for fuel filling; that design is built for gas only, in place of husks, wood, coal or agricultural waste. In areas or countries where a boiler is prohibited for certain seeds, an electrical kettle option in two sizes can be worked out. The boilers suit both small and large scale oil mill units. They are efficient and energy saving, give high steam generation rates with low running cost and lower maintenance, and are easy to install, assemble and dismantle. Safety features are installed in every unit. They serve almost all seeds, including groundnut, soyabean, sesame seed, sunflower, castor and kernels. The black cylindrical shell carries a pressure gauge, water level gauge glass, valves and piping, with a firebox door at the base and a flue outlet on top.
