The "Uphaz" is a heavy duty black antique wrought iron gate latch, 17" overall, for farm house gates, main doors, garage doors, shutters, cupboards and more. It is designed to be simple to use and quick to install, and the set includes 12 screws, each in a black powder-coated finish that matches the latch. The heavy duty iron and black finish give durability and reliability, and the rust-resistant Black Powder Coated finish suits indoor or outdoor use. Its rustic, vintage look makes it a fit for outdoor settings such as barn doors, pool houses, garden sheds and summer houses. It mounts on wood, drywall, concrete and other suitable walls; check that both door and wall are suitable, and mount it properly for smooth operation. To fit it, close the gate, align the flip latch bar straight and install the two latch parts on the same side using screws. The latch has a hammered-texture lever bar on a round backplate with a trefoil-shaped ring handle, a second ring handle on its own round plate, and two shaped keeper plates.
