The 5 inch "Jesse" dummy corner door strap, also called an L-bracket, is a black antique cast iron decorative piece for dressing the corner of a door. As a dummy (false) strap it is purely decorative. Its two arms meet at a right angle around an open scroll, each ending in a trident-like flourish and a round screw eye, and the whole surface carries a hammered, textured black finish with screw holes along both arms. It measures 5" overall, 5 inch = 127mm along each arm, with 5mm thickness. Made of cast iron and supplied as one piece with matching screws.
