With its rounded, upturned grip, the 10 inch "Joses" casement stay is an antique-style cast iron window stay in Black Powder Coated finish, used to prop a casement window open at a chosen position or hold it closed. The flat arm pivots on a hinged base plate, and the holes along the arm fit over a stay pin. It measures 264mm x 53mm x 41mm, with the 264mm length running along the arm and the 53mm width across the base plate. Two stay plates come with it, their marked dimensions reading 46mm, 25mm and 16mm. Natural Iron Unlacquered, Natural Iron lacquered, Matte Buff Lacquered and Natural Rust Lacquered finishes are also offered.
