About this product

Wenge Tiger Wood is a wood-look wooden tile from the Wenge collection, sized 20x120 CM with a matt with structure finish. The plank face carries deep chocolate-brown grain swept with flowing tan and light-brown streaks, giving a bold, striped figure along its length. Key specs include water absorption under 0.05% (ISO-10545-3), breaking strength above 1800 N (ISO-10545-4), surface abrasion resistance Class PEI 4 (2100 revolutions) (EN 154) and a Mohs scratch hardness of 5 (EN 101). It passes frost resistance (ISO-10545-12) and thermal shock resistance (ISO-10545-9) tests, rates Class 5 for stain resistance (ISO-10545-14) and carries a Class A1 - A1 fl reaction to fire rating.

Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
