About this product

Recto grey is a concrete-look glazed porcelain tile in 80x80 CM, finished Matt with structure in a deep charcoal-grey tone. It rates Class PEI 4 (2100 revolutions) (EN 154) for surface abrasion and has a slip resistance (COF) of > 0.40 dry, > 0.40 wet (ISO-10545-17). Water absorption is < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3), modulus of rupture is > 40 N/mm2 (ISO-10545-4), and surface scratch hardness is 5 on the Mohs scale (EN 101). Reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl. Other colours in the Recto collection are Recto Light grey, Recto Bianco, Recto Silver and Recto Ash. Available sizes (CM): 60x60, 60x120, 30x60, 80x80

Buyer's guide

What to check
  • Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
  • Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
  • Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.
What to ask the supplier
  • Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
  • Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
