Rafter Cemento glazed porcelain tile in a concrete look with a matt with structure finish, 30x60 CM, with 60x120 CM also available. The face is a mid-grey with fine, lighter streaks running across it, giving a textured concrete effect; laid together, the tiles form an even grey surface. It is one colour of the Rafter collection, alongside Rafter Taupe, Rafter Negro and Rafter Tan. Water absorption is < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3) and breaking strength > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4). Surface abrasion resistance is Class PEI 4 (2100 revolutions) (EN 154), slip resistance (COF) > 0.40 dry, > 0.40 wet (ISO-10545-17), and stain resistance Class 5 (ISO-10545-14). The tile passes the frost resistance test (ISO-10545-12) and rates Class A1 - A1 fl for reaction to fire.

- Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
- Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
- Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.
- Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
- Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
