Newton Silver is a glazed porcelain tile in 80x80 CM, polished, with a marble look on a pale ivory ground. Fine beige and soft sand-coloured veins branch across the face, with one long diagonal line and a lighter network of hairline cracks. The polished face gives a gloss above 92 GU (gloss meter 60°). Water absorption is under 0.05% (ISO-10545-3), breaking strength is above 1800 N (ISO-10545-4), stain resistance is Class 5 and Mohs scratch hardness is 5. Reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl. Newton also comes in 60x60, 60x120 and 30x60 CM, and in Natural, Dove, Choco, Cobalt, Crema and Grey.
