About this product

Mersion Silver is a polished glazed porcelain tile, a marble look in 60x120 CM. Its near-white face is softly clouded with light grey and faint beige veining, and laid tiles give a bright, glossy surface with the veining running on from tile to tile. The Silver tile has water absorption < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3), breaking strength > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4), glossiness > 92 GU (Gloss meter 60°), surface scratch hardness 5 on the Mohs scale (EN 101), stain resistance Class 5 (ISO-10545-14) and reaction to fire Class A1 - A1 fl. The collection also includes Brown, Pearl, Grey and Taupe. Available sizes (CM): 100x100, 120x180, 60x60, 60x120, 30x60, 80x80, 80x160, 120x120

Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
