Emil White — Glazed Porcelain Tiles, Polished, 60x60 CM

About this product

Emil White glazed porcelain tiles bring a pale, off-white marble look with a polished finish, here in 60x60 CM, from the Emil collection. Soft grey veins and clustered stone fragments run across the light face, and laid tiles show the pattern continuing with a glossy sheen. The collection also offers 60x120, 30x60, 80x80 and 80x160 CM, plus Emil Beige, Emil Crema and Emil Sand. The glaze reaches > 92 GU glossiness (Gloss meter 60°), with water absorption < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3) and breaking strength > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4). Stain resistance is Class 5 (ISO-10545-14), abrasion resistance >=3 (EN 154) and Mohs hardness 5 (EN 101). Frost and thermal shock results are a pass, and reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl.

Buyer's guide

What to check
  • Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
  • Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
  • Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.
What to ask the supplier
  • Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
  • Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
