Edison Beige Face2 — Glazed Porcelain Tiles, Polished, 60x120 CM

About this product

Strong diagonal veining sets apart Edison Beige Face2, a polished glazed porcelain tile in 60x120 CM with an "Endless" look. Light beige bands sweep from one lower corner toward the opposite upper edge, traced with fine brown hairline veins, and the face pairs with Face1, Face3 and Face4 of the same Edison Beige design. Water absorption is < 0.05%, breaking strength is > 1800 N and apparent density is > 2.20 g/cc. The polished surface reaches > 92 GU on a 60° gloss meter, rates 5 on the Mohs scale for scratch hardness and holds stain resistance Class 5. Reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl, and the tile passes thermal shock resistance testing to ISO-10545-9.

Buyer's guide

What to check
  • Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
  • Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
  • Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.
What to ask the supplier
  • Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
  • Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
