About this product

Croto Grey brings a cool grey marble look to a polished glazed porcelain tile in 60x120 cm. Copper-brown and rust veins run through the grey ground, splitting it into angular stone-like sections, with speckled, granular patches across the face. The tile absorbs < 0.05% water (ISO-10545-3) and carries a breaking strength of > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4). Its polished face measures > 92 GU (Gloss meter 60°), scratch hardness is 5 on the Mohs scale (EN 101) and surface abrasion resistance is >=3 (EN 154). Reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl. Other Croto colours are Bianco, Gold and Nero. Sizes (cm): 100x100, 120x180, 60x60, 60x120, 30x60, 80x80, 80x160, 120x120

Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
