About this product

Castelo Honey is the golden, honey-toned shade of the Castelo collection: a 20x120 CM wooden tile with a wood look and a matt with structure finish. Its plank face shows an even wood grain with fine lines and small knots, and the planks lay in staggered rows like timber boards. Water absorption is < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3) and breaking strength is > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4). Surface abrasion resistance is Class PEI 4 (2100 revolutions) (EN 154), scratch hardness is 5 on the Mohs scale (EN 101) and stain resistance is Class 5 (ISO-10545-14). The tile passes frost resistance (ISO-10545-12), and its reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl. Slip resistance (COF) is > 0.40 dry, <0.40 wet (ISO-10545-17). The collection also offers Brown, Beige, Coffee, Grigio and Slate.

Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
