The face is an even greige scattered with fine darker and lighter flecks, and laid tiles form a large, uniform surface with fine joint lines. Breaking strength is > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4), water absorption < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3) and surface abrasion resistance Class PEI 4 (EN 154). Slip resistance (COF) is > 0.40 dry and > 0.40 wet (ISO-10545-17), the tile passes the frost resistance test (ISO-10545-12), and reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl. Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
