About this product

Alpi Honey is a warm golden-tan wooden tile in 20x120 CM, finished matt with structure. Its face carries a light honey-coloured wood grain with long flowing lines and soft darker streaks, and the planks also suit a herringbone layout. The Alpi range is offered in 20x120 and 30x120 CM, and its other colours are White, Noche, Choco, Brown and Avana. Water absorption is < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3), breaking strength > 1800 N (ISO-10545-4) and modulus of rupture > 40 N/mm2 (ISO-10545-4). The surface is rated Class PEI 4 for abrasion (EN 154) and Class 5 for stain resistance (ISO-10545-14), with Class A1 - A1 fl reaction to fire.

Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
