Violet cashmere wool Omani turban (masar), an Arabian massar with multi-colour embroidery, handmade in Kashmir, India. It is also sold as a musar, and it is soft and light. The violet ground carries an embroidered border along two edges, meeting at a corner where a large leaf-and-branch motif rises in red, rust and olive. The border repeats white, blue, olive and pink floral medallions inside a red outline, finished with a small scalloped edge. Size is 54" x 54", embroidery size is 4" and weight is 250grams.
