Red and black striped "PALDAR" ladies Pure Pashmina shawl, hand embroidered in multiple colours and hand woven on a handloom in Kashmir, India. It is made from the finest 100% pure Pashmina wool yarn spun into very fine thread, a piece of art designed with a striped black and red base. The embroidery technique is known as Kani Kar or Paper Machee. Fine floral motifs in pink, red, white and mustard fill wide panels at both ends, with a narrow embroidered border along the sides and red fringed ends. Weaving is by Bilal Ahmad and embroidery by Abdul Ahad Mir. The shawl measures 100x200cm and weighs 270 grams. Care is hand wash or dry clean only, skipping any soak. Catalogue code: KT-PAL90008
