Hand-embroidered pashmina shawl, 1m x 2m, hand-spun and hand-woven, with needlework that is identical on both sides. The ivory ground is covered in embroidered paisleys and floral vines in pink, rust, brown and olive, framed by a stitched border band, with a plain end panel and fringed edge. Each piece is nearly done in eight months by a well-experienced artisan with great skill built over many years.
