It is handloom handwoven from 100% Himalayan goat Pashmina wool and hand-embroidered in needle work along all four sides, with buti motifs on the four corners. The cotton-thread embroidery is multi-coloured and 2 inches wide. On this piece the corner border and paisley buta are stitched in olive green and mustard gold on the deep maroon ground, and the edges are softly fringed.
