Natural un-dyed off-white cashmere wool Omani turban (masar) with blue-and-white embroidery, an Arabian massar handmade in Kashmir, India, also known as a musar. It is soft and light, with multi-colour embroidery. The off-white ground carries a border along two edges worked in blue and white flowers and vines with maroon details. Just inside the corner sits a separate leaf-shaped motif in the same colours, and the border finishes in a small leaf edge. Size is 54" x 54", embroidery size is 4" and weight is 250grams.
