Off-white cashmere wool Omani turban (masar) with dense maroon-and-white embroidery, an Arabian massar handmade in Kashmir, India. Sold under the natural off-white name and also known as a musar, it is soft and light, with multi-colour embroidery. The off-white ground carries a wide border of maroon-outlined flowers and leaves filled in white with pale blue touches. At the corner the embroidery rises into a tall panel of pointed, flame-like leaf shapes, and the border ends in a small leaf edge. Size is 54" x 54", embroidery size is 4" and weight is 250grams.
