Multi-colour check Pashmina shawl with white Sozni needlework in the classical "BUTIDAR" style, hand woven in Kashmir, India. Butidar is the traditional name for classical motifs sewn all over the shawl, and here they are worked in very intricate Sozni art embroidery using multi thread, which makes the design lively and gives good contrast. The shawl is soft, light weight and naturally warm. The base is a check of red, green, royal blue, black and purple blocks, with white motifs repeating across every block. Guftar Ahmad wove the shawl and Abdul Ahad Wani did the embroidery. It measures 110x210cm. Base colour is listed as Multi Check Box with White embroidery.
