Dark grey cashmere wool Omani turban (masar) with paisley embroidery, an Arabian massar handmade in Kashmir, India, also known as a musar. It is soft and light, with multi-colour embroidery. The grey ground carries a border along two edges in pink, light blue, cream and amber, built from paisley and floral motifs. At the corner, a large panel of paisleys and branching flowers rises from the border, which ends in a small pink scalloped edge. Size is 54" x 54", embroidery size is 3.5" and weight is 250grams.
