Pracheen Petha

Pracheen Petha is an Agra-based manufacturer, retailer and wholesaler of petha, namkeen, gajak and other sweets and snacks, with six outlets across Agra. Its history goes back to 1926, when founder Shri Gokul Chand Ji set up the first-ever Petha shop and manufacturing unit in Noori Darwaza, Agra. At that time Lal Petha, made from khand and gud (sugar and jaggery), was the only kind available; Shri Gokul Chand Ji introduced Kessar Petha, Angoori Petha and Kesar Angoori Petha, which remained its exclusive offerings until 2000. At the start of the 21st century Mr. Rajesh Agarwal added fusion pethas such as Sandwich Petha, Paan Petha and Butterscotch Ladoo Petha, and the business now draws on nearly a century of experience. Petha is the largest line, with 23 varieties: Plain, Lal, Angoori, Kessar Elaichi, Pan, Sandwich, Royal, Shalimar, Doda and Khus Petha, along with fruit and dessert flavours such as Mango, Orange, Santra, Coconut, Strawberry, Rasbhary, Cherry, Mix Cherry, Kessar Cherry, Chocolate, Butterscotch, Butter Burfi and Gulab Laddu Petha. The namkeen line covers 15 items, including Shahi Dalmoth, Dalmoth, Punjabi Mixture, Mota Mixture (Salted), Cornflex Mixture, Aloo Bhujia, Gujrati Bhujiya, Bhavnagri Sev, Longi Sev, Ratlami Sev, Ratlami Sev (Salted), Nut Cracker (Tasty), Masala Peanuts, Salted Peanuts and Salted Roasted Chana. A further 9 items make up gajak and other sweets: Ghee Gud Gajak, Ghee Cheeni (Sugar) Gajak, Gud Rewadi, Cheeni Rewadi, Gud Coin Rewadi, Cheeni Coin Reawdi, Mufli Chikki, Aam Papad and Fruit Jelly. Pracheen Petha puts quality first in its pethas, follows sustainable practices from responsible sourcing to eco-friendly packaging, actively reduces waste in its operations and offers an extensive choice of petha flavours. It takes corporate and wholesale orders alongside retail sales. The business is a proprietorship, GST-registered since 2017.
