Self-adhesive hook and loop tape with pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back, in rubber-based or acrylic-based glue. Rubber adhesive, sensitive to high temperatures and moisture, gives higher initial tack than acrylic and suits wood, glass, plastic and metal. The hot melt adhesive works at around 90 degrees, with a silicon-coated white release paper or polyfilm liner. Peel adhesion at 180° per PSTC 101 is 2.5 kg/inch, and the adhesive complies compositionally with FDA 175.105. Made in PA or PA-PES. Formats include molded hook with PSA, PA hook and loop shapes, 13/16/19 & 49 mm coins and velour loop tape with PSA.
