Heavy Duty 25mm Pillar Drill Machine, a floor-standing pillar drill that drills up to 25 mm in mild steel and also works cast iron, aluminium and other metals. It serves engineering workshops, fabrication industries, automobile workshops, machine shops, maintenance departments and manufacturing units for industrial drilling and metal fabrication. A cast iron body and heavy-duty frame keep it steady and resist vibration for accurate, consistent holes, with low maintenance and long service life. The V-belt drive gives 4 or 5 speed steps, multispeed up to 1400 RPM, and the MT-3 spindle has 125 mm vertical travel with a standard 1 mm to 16 mm chuck. The 320 mm diameter (approx.) circular tilting table with slots allows angled drilling and secure clamping. It has 210 mm from spindle to column, 950 mm from spindle to base, a 74 mm column and a 485 mm x 320 mm slotted base plate. Manual lever feed gives easy depth adjustment and 0.05mm accuracy. Power is 1 HP to 2 HP (1.5 kW approx.) on 220-240V or 415V, 3 Phase, 50 Hz. Overload protection and an emergency stop switch are fitted; lubrication is by greased bearings and manual lubrication, and external coolant is optional. This semi-automatic, conventional mechanical, manual machine is paint coated green with orange highlights, runs at moderate noise within 5-45C, measures approx. 600 mm x 400 mm x 1500 mm and weighs approx. 180-220 kg.
