38 MM pillar drilling machine for holes up to 38 in cast iron (C.I.) and 35 in mild steel (M.S.), with a tapping capacity of 20. It takes tools in an M.T.-4 taper spindle with 240 quill movement and runs 8 spindle speeds from 70 to 2000 with manual feed, driven by a 1.5 HP, 1400 RPM drilling motor. As one of the larger machines in its series, it reaches 300 from spindle centre to column face, 1000 from spindle to base plate and 530 from spindle to work table. The 422 x 422 work table has 2 T-slots, and the machine stands on a column of 108 and a 720 x 470 base plate, weighing 375 kg. The machine has a green body with a belt guard on top, a three-spoke feed handle, a round column, a square slotted work table raised by a crank handle and a slotted base plate. The same series covers 40 MM, 32 MM, 25 MM HD, 25 MM MD, 25 MM LD and 20 MM models.
