Pack of 24 x 1L Tropics cold pressed coconut oil, a large case of pure, unrefined edible coconut oil made from mature dried coconuts of Kerala's Malabar region. The coconuts are organic, grown on neighbourhood farms around the factory in Kozhikode, Kerala, a region known for dense, superior quality coconut meat. They are cut and dried in a custom-made smoke-free dryer, and the copra is stored free of preservatives and sulphur. The oil is pressed in a non-heated expeller with zero chemicals or solvents and left to settle in a series of settling tanks, which keeps the rich aroma and taste of fresh copra. It stays unrefined, since refining relies on high temperatures, chemicals and solvents, and it carries zero chemical compounds, preservatives or additives. Coconut oil is one of the few natural sources of immunity-boosting lauric acid. It boosts immunity, improves memory, has antimicrobial properties, speeds up metabolism, aids digestion, promotes glowing skin and nourishes hair. It is used for cooking and in coastal cuisine, in ayurvedic preparations, as a hair oil to reduce hair fall and add shine and thickness, and as a natural skin moisturizer. Each clear bottle has a yellow cap and a brown-and-gold label reading "Premium Unrefined" and "Cold Pressed Coconut Oil" with a coconut palm motif.
