A pack of 24 x 500 mL bottles of Tropics cold pressed coconut oil: pure, unrefined edible coconut oil pressed from mature dried coconuts of Kerala's Malabar region. The copra is unroasted and the oil is cold pressed in an expeller with zero chemicals or solvents, so it keeps the aroma and flavour characteristic of the coconuts. The coconuts are organic, grown on neighbourhood farms around the factory in Kozhikode, Kerala, a region known for dense, superior quality coconut meat. They are cut and dried in a custom-made smoke-free dryer, the copra is stored free of preservatives and sulphur, and the pressed oil settles in a series of settling tanks. The oil stays unrefined, since refining relies on high temperatures, chemicals and solvents, and it carries zero chemical compounds, preservatives or additives. Bulk quantities go to units that need pure coconut oil as an ingredient for their products or services, including restaurants for cooking, ayurvedic medicine and cosmetic producers, pet food manufacturers and other proprietary product manufacturers. Coconut oil is one of the few natural sources of immunity-boosting lauric acid; it boosts immunity, improves memory, has antimicrobial properties, speeds up metabolism, aids digestion, promotes glowing skin and nourishes hair, and it serves as a hair oil and a natural skin moisturizer. The clear bottles carry a yellow cap and a brown-and-gold "Premium Unrefined" "Cold Pressed Coconut Oil" label with a coconut palm motif.
