Eight-speed non-index bicycle freewheel SC-FR-109, an eight-sprocket rear cluster that runs on 1/2" x 3/32 full steel balls. Fitted to the rear hub, a freewheel carries the gears and lets the wheel coast when pedalling stops. The sprockets have a bronze-toned finish, stacked in a stepped cone with a splined centre at the smallest cog. Two tooth ranges are offered, from a compact spread to a wider spread, listed below.
