The face is a deep black ground crossed by white and grey veins, with streaks of rust-orange and brown running diagonally across the slab. The glazed surface measures a glossiness of > 94 GU (Gloss meter 60°), and water absorption is < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3). Breaking strength is > 1800 N and modulus of rupture > 40 N/mm2 (ISO-10545-4). Stain resistance is Class 5 (ISO-10545-14), surface scratch hardness is 5 on the Mohs scale (EN 101), and reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl.
