Onyx Charcoal is a polished 60x60 CM double charge tile in the "Onyx – DC" collection, with a marble look. Its deep charcoal and black face is layered in flowing diagonal waves, flecked with coral-red patches and soft grey pools. The tile reaches a glossiness of > 70% (Gloss meter 60°) and a water absorption of < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3). Breaking strength is > 2200 N and modulus of rupture > 40 N/mm2 (ISO-10545-4). It is rated Class PEI 4 (2100 revolutions) (EN 154) for surface abrasion resistance, 5 on the Mohs scale for scratch hardness and Class 5 for stain resistance. Frost and thermal shock resistance are rated Pass, and reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl.
