Basko Avorio — Wooden Tiles, Matt with structure, 20x120 CM

About this product

Avorio is a Basko wooden tile: a wood-look plank in a matt finish with structure, size 20x120 CM. Its face shows a soft cream-ivory wood grain with gentle figure. Basko is also made in 30x120 CM, and in Wine, Nocciola, Natural, Miele, Honey, Grey, Brown and Beige. The tile lists water absorption < 0.05% (ISO-10545-3), breaking strength > 1800 N and modulus of rupture > 40 N/mm2 (ISO-10545-4). Surface abrasion resistance is Class PEI 4 (2100 revolutions) (EN 154), with Mohs scratch hardness 5 (EN 101) and stain resistance Class 5 (ISO-10545-14). Slip resistance (COF) reads > 0.40 dry, <0.40 wet (ISO-10545-17). It passes frost (ISO-10545-12) and thermal shock (ISO-10545-9) testing, and reaction to fire is Class A1 - A1 fl.

Buyer's guide

What to check

Check water absorption, which is 0.5% or lower for porcelain tiles.
Check breaking strength, flatness and edge straightness (rectified edges).
Confirm the finish and slip resistance for the intended floor or wall area.

What to ask the supplier

Ask for conformity to IS 15622 or ISO 13006 and the batch test report.
Ask for box coverage in square metres and the shade and calibre code on each box.
